The new ProfiCut 700 direct cut header for forage harvesters is in perfect harmony with the latest generation of forage harvesters and the ideal solution for the demanding biomass harvest. With a working width of up to seven metres, the crop attachments have been uncompromisingly redesigned in their entirety by Zürn for peak performance. The direct cut header extends the tried-and-tested ProfiCut family of attachments, in particular for the harvest with high biomass yields – e.g. forage rye, vetch mixes and other plant mixtures, as well as catch crops. 

For fans of the 1:32 scale, there is a new attachment for the imposing John Deere 8500i. The John Deere 8500i forage harvester with its 585 hp is a powerful achievement when it comes to working in the field. The self-propelled vehicle is a completely new development for the traditional precision model maker WIKING. Not one component from previous models is used in the miniature produced entirely by hand. Narrow tyres leave hardly any traces

Excellent panoramic view for driver and nimble in every situation to make the 400 series Claas Arion a versatile tractor for work on the farm. Arable work on the fields depends on the type of tyres. The Claas Arion 400 series is the perfect tyre type. Tyres provided by WIKING are obviously narrower and make the tractor more suitable for work in plant protection and special cultures. Thanks to the tyres the agricultural machine leaves only a narrow trace. For cereal and corn the tractor can drive between the cultivated rows without any young plants being damaged.

Oehler hay-bale trailer makes the last step of the harvest efficient

Never has WIKING had such a highly detailed hay-bale trailer that can be used for transporting both round and rectangular bales. With a robust, metal chassis true to the original, the precision model makers have created a solid basis for the hay-bale trailer. Draw bar, frame, platform and the front and rear load restraints are metal. The draw bar has a trailer coupling that enables the trailer to be connected to power tractors and to trucks. 

Adjustable angle of front and rear load restraints

To achieve better usability, the draw bar can be moved horizontally from right to left. And, of course, a core function can also be simulated, with the frame at the front and rear being easily pulled out to extend the load area as required. While WIKING only uses a push-in connector, the original had to be secured with a bolt. The angle of the front and rear load restraints can be adjusted according to whether the load comprises round or rectangular bales. In no time at all they can be laid down flat on the load area if there is an empty load. WIKING has naturally fitted the loading vehicle with tyres and wheel rims that match those of the original, and equipped the trailer with fine, miniature hose connections along the entire chassis. The bumper has inserted rear lamps. Eight rectangular bales are included with the model, and the load can be complemented with the additional rectangular bales, round bales and round bales in silage film that are already available as accessories in the shops to simulate a lifelike load.

The John Deere 7310R has the power to impress in its tractor class

The new John Deere 7310R makes a strong appearance in the highest performance class of the tractor world above 300 hp. Since fewer performance losses mean greater efficiency and greater towing force, John Deere is able to boast an impressive total efficiency of 95%. Ultimately, the tractors have developed into high-tech agricultural machines that not only offer a cockpit ideal for daily use, but also a computer-supported workstation for the farmer. The 310 hp (max. 340 hp IPM) produced effortlessly by the 9-litre engine provides excellent torque transmission with low fuel consumption in the field. WIKING has managed to faithfully miniaturise the heavy-duty tractor with 11 tonne tare weight. This naturally includes the striking transparency of the cab, which in the original provides a better, more convenient view of the attachments. And there is naturally also an opportunity to have a glimpse of the CommandARM operating console that, in combination with the display, is the tractor’s most important control element. Just as striking is the new light system as, in comparison to the halogen headlamps, the LED work lights will in future achieve a 40% greater field of vision to the side and 10% greater illumination to the rear.

Diverse moveable functions imitate the everyday

The front and rear tyres have a strong, agricultural profile, and the wheels can be exchanged as required. This allows a glimpse of the detailed wheel rim design. The entire lower assembly of the tractor itself is made of metal, as are the engine hood and frame around the engine. The prominent lamps of the engine hood and those around the cab roof and on the rear are inserted. The radiator grille is formed of a separate plastic part. The rear fender is metal, while the front fender is plastic. A glance inside the cockpit provides plenty of scale delight. The same can be said of the highly detailed John Deere engine, hidden away under the foldable engine hood. And of course, the two all-round lights on the cab and the StarFire navigation system on the front of the cab are also part of the 1:32 miniature. The exhaust, rear mirror, ladder and steps, as well as the front weight round off the overall impression. The highly detailed front swing axle also accounts for the mobility of the John Deere 7310R. Naturally, the front axle can be steered, it being connected to the steering movement of the steering wheel in the cockpit. The lower link and top link are moveable front and back. As are the exterior mirrors, as well as the height-adjustable rear coupling. Anyone who wants to check this out in detail simply has to open the left cab door and the rear window to the same angle as the original.

Tucano stirs up the upper middle combine segment

The Claas Tucano is seen today as a premium machine in the upper mid-size combine segment and has by now been tried and tested for its suitability for many crop varieties and its combination of a high throughput performance and high straw quality. For the 500 series, WIKING took on the challenge of miniaturizing the APS hybrid threshing system. For the new Tucano, for example, the tradition-rich model-makers have functionally designed the highly visible top discharge, which is a great advantage during harvest. Through this measure for the prototype, Claas has increased the discharge capacity by an average of 30% – up to 105 liters a second are discharged from the tank. With a capacity of up to 9,000 liters, the grain tank is empty in less than two minutes! The emptying from the top also facilitates accessibility for maintenance work. In combination with longer discharge pipes, it even allows for greater loading heights and widths. In the 1:32 model, everything is true to prototype: The feed for the cuttings is height-adjustable; the associated feed rollers rotate.

An enticing view of the engine and into the cab
The side engine covers on the superstructure can be opened right and left. To simulate the emptying of the tank, the discharge spout can be pivoted true to the original radius. Naturally, the grain tank can be opened and provides a view of the movable auger in the interior. In addition, the rear engine cover can be opened and the air intake grille rotates. The entire harvester model offers maximum mobility through the rear swing axle, which is also steerable. The fully transparent operator workstation allows inspection of the completely miniaturized harvester operation. The cab doors can be opened. The entry steps on the front of the cab can be pivoted forward as needed; the mirrors can be adjusted as desired. For the first time WIKING has provided safety chains on the front steps; in addition, the lower step is flexibly mounted. Warning signs and taillights can be pivoted for field implementation.
Removable cutting unit – Vario 930 rich in detail

The front-mounted, removable Vario 930 cutting unit has a rotating auger, and the rotor and rotor arms are pivotable. WIKING has made the positioning button so it can be folded in. Moreover, the blades are adjustable. The hinged drawbar swivels by means of a spring return; the front axle can be steered accurately via the fifth wheel. Last but not least, the removable wheel chock delivers proof of the tangible subtlety of the model-building talent of WIKING.
